At Priory Academy, each year, we choose two Year 6 pupils to represent us all as School Captains. This is not a responsibility that is easily earned.
School Captains are selected for a number of reasons, particularly because they:
- have consistently set a high standard of behaviour in school
- have consistently shown a very positive attitude to their learning
- have consistently worked hard throughout their time in school
- have been identified by staff as fine role models for their peers
Our School Captains for 2021-22 academic year are Daisy-Mae and Joshua.
Daisy-Mae says, "It feels like a huge responsibility to represent the school but I think I will do a good job with the skills that I have. I am looking forward to undertaking the role, especially talking to visitors and celebrating everything that is good about the school! I promise to help other pupils in younger year groups understand how to make the most of their time in school."
Joshua says, "I feel extremely proud to have been given this role and to have the opportunity to represent my school. I know a lot about the school and how lucky we are to have the opportunities we do. Therefore, I am looking forward to sharing this with other people. I promise that the example I set for other pupils will help them succeed in the future."
