Each term, class teachers produce a knowledge organiser for their pupils.

Our aim is for children to know more and remember more, so each knowledge organiser contains key material for pupils to study, both at school and at home.

Teachers pick this material carefully to ensure that the building blocks of learning are in place at the end of the programme of study.

The knowledge organisers often contain key vocabulary, facts and timelines. They sometimes contain maps or diagrams to help frame the learning too.

We would strongly encourage parents and carers to help their children revisit their learning via the knowledge organisers. You can be sure that supporting your child to remember and use the information on the knowledge organisers will help them make progress.

Knowledge organisers are routinely sent out via email each term, but are also available to look at here on the Academy website.
